Delighted to share the success of the 1st MLM Student Conference of the Interdepartmental MSc in Lifestyle Medicine programme, under the auspices of the European Lifestyle Medicine Organisation (hashtag#ELMO), held at the hashtag#DepartmentOfPhysicalEducationAndSportsScience, hashtag#SchoolOfPhysicalEducationSportScienceAndDietetics, hashtag#UniversityOfThessaly, in the beautiful city of hashtag#Trikala over the weekend of June 29-30, 2024.
🌟We were honored to have Prof. Ken Wilund from the University of Arizona, Tuscon, USA, Thanasis Sakkas, GoodWe Sales Director Europe, and Dr. Georgios Ioannis Tsianos MD, NHS GP and super athlete, deliver inspiring lectures to a captivated audience, along with project presentations by the graduating class members. During the awards ceremony, graduating students of the class 2023-2024 also received their European Lifestyle Medicine Certification, by Prof. Spyros A. Karamanos, Vice Rector of International Relations, Outreach & Lifelong Education, of hashtag#UniversityOfThessaly.
🎓✨ The two-day conference was the concluding event of the hashtag#MLMSummerSchool which provided our students with the key lab and practical skills on a variety of techniques that support a hashtag#LifestyleMedicine approach. Heartfelt congratulations to our esteemed students, contributors, and MLM faculty for their ceaseless efforts in providing hashtag#LifestyleMedicine education of the highest caliber. 👏
