First Aid Seminar
Public seminar designed to raise awareness on the importance of citizens knowing and implementing First Aid when needed with numerous speakers, from doctors to academics, to heart attack survivors highlighting this message by sharing their experiences. The seminar also included instruction and demonstrations of Basic First Aid, such as CPR and use of Automatic External Defibrillators (AED).

CPR demonstration
Open demostrations of Cardiopulmonary Resurcitation (CPR) execution, organised by Dr. Eleni Polizou MD., in collaboration with the Hellenic Society of Emergency Prehospital Care (HSEPC) and the Humanitarian Organisation Kids Save Lives (KSL). The demonstration was designed to teach CPR in fun and interactive ways to schoolchildren from two primary schools in Trikala. Although the main participants were the children, the event was open to all, and many who passed by remained for the duration of the presentation . The demonstrations were led by Dr. Polizou, who was assissted by the volunteers from E-thelontes, the local volunteering organisation. The event location was in front of the Trikala Main Hall, in one of the busiest roads of the city.
